delivers her debut album Nest. Since October 2025, she has released the three singles Full Moon, Couteau, and Je n’ai pas compris, all leading up to the release of the full album.
Halfway between darkness and sensitivity, Nest is a collection of raw moments, living tableaux, and relentless reflections. It is a musical narrative nourished by beauty and nature, humanity and existence. With her first full-length album, fully unfolds her artistic finesse in a work that blends grunge, electronic music, and psychedelic folk.
« Nest is an album that dives into the heart of fear, without a safety net, in search of connection with myself and with others. I am a human being searching for answers to questions far too big for me. I wanted to give up so many times, but that would feel like giving up on the beauty that remains in this world, that remains within me. » -
Emerging artist from Montreal’s music scene, Gabrielle Brigitte, aka , offers an immersion into intense, strange, and cinematic sonic landscapes. Her songs, a unique and mesmerizing fusion of melancholic art pop, trip-hop, and psychedelic folk, carry a strong post-punk philosophy at their core. It is avant-garde and captivating, singular yet surprisingly accessible. While grief and sorrow play a crucial role in her songwriting process, she also draws inspiration from the simple and luminous joys of nature and human connection.
Through its 10 bilingual songs, Nest tells a sensitive and brutally honest story of transformation. Recorded using sampled sounds from nature and instruments, followed by entirely live sessions with her musicians - without a metronome or overdubs - the work embraces a fractured, raw, and vulnerable signature. It is groovy, grungy, electronic, and intimate. In a dizzying plunge into fear, love, and madness, Nest calls on us to keep our heads above water, to remain sensitive and curious in a world that exhausts what is sacred within us.
In an era where everything can sometimes feel hollow and instantaneous, stands in resistance to AI, hyperproduction, and sterilization, and bows instead to nature and poetry. Classically trained as a pianist and also a visual artist, she creates a multitude of sets and objects that support her sonic universe. This artistic identity becomes the fuel for her work, carried by the music and the words she shares.
